  Camp Gauto - Pearl of the Laisvalley

   In the heart of the upper Laisvalley, surrounded by beautiful mountains and the Laisvalleys rapids lay the mountain village Gautosjö. Here you have the fishing camp where fishing, nature and the outdoor life are the main activities. The place is located 70 km west of Arjeplog and south of Pieljekaise national park.

Here you can fish in all kinds of water from lakes of all sizes, rapids , streams, and small brooks. The camping also has a lot of private fishing waters at their disposal. (see Fish.).

   The hunting takes place either in the surrounding mountains for grouse or in the woods for capercaillie
and hare. (see Hunt.).

   Summertime there are boats, canoes, and boat engines
to rent close by the camp as well as lakes a bit further
away that you can reach by hiking or flying.

   Wintertime there are snowmobiles and sleds to rent
for thosew ho want to get out into the amazing
mountain landscape for some winter fishing or just
to see the sights. (see Winter season).

   A restaurant (Gautobaren) is also available which is
known to offer anything from a hotdog to local
delicacies, it´s also fully licensed.

   Conference arrangements can be organized as well as possibilities to full board accomodation.
